A meeting between Prime Minister-designate Ana Brnabic dedicated to the composition of the new cabinet and SPAS leader Aleksandar Sapic, who did not rule out the possibility of joining the new government, began at around 9 am in the government of Serbia.

Brnabic previously spoke with the leader of the Socialist Party of Serbia, Ivica Dacic, and his coalition partner, Dragan Markovic.

After the meeting, Dacic did not address the media.

After his meeting, Aleksandar Sapic told reporters that he was satisfied with the conversation, but did not want to reveal whether he would participate in the future government.

"I can't tell you that now, it would be unfair because this evening is the session of the Presidency of the SNS, the party that has the absolute majority," he said and added that the talks he had with Brnabic were in line with the talks he had with President Aleksandar Vucic.

Serbia will most likely get a new government today, for when the session of the SNS presidency is scheduled, after which the composition of the new executive branch of power headed by Ana Brnabic should be known.

In previous days, media speculated that Sapic's SPAS as well as the SPS could enter the new government, and among those speculations was that Ivica Dacic's party would have fewer seats in the new government.

What is certain is that instead of 22, there will be 24 departments because two new ministries are being formed - ministries of Human and Minority Rights and of Social Dialogue. It has also been announced that there will be more women in the cabinet.
