Popular Hollywood stars, the world's most famous models and Victoria's Angels are only some of the celebrities who in the past received Serbian passports.

Hollywood action actor Steven Seagal (68), the most beautiful woman in the world and Victoria's Angel Adriana Lima (39), the star of "Maid in Manhattan" and "Harry Potter" Ralph Fiennes (57) are among the holders of the Serbian travel document.

Adriana Lima

Ten years ago, model Adriana Lima, who was at the time married to Serbian basketballer Marko Jaric, received a Serbian passport and citizenship, after she requested it from the office of then Minister of the Interior Ivica Dacic.

However, problems in the marriage of the famous couple soon started, so it was revealed that due to procedural obstacles, the job of issuing the passport was never completed and this Victoria's Angel never had it.

Steven Seagal

The Hollywood action star received a Serbian passport in 2016.

"Seagal (Saul) Steven Frederic, bor April 10, 1952 in the US Federal State of Michigan (Lansing, Ingham), a citizen of the United States of America, is admitted to the citizenship of the Republic of Serbia," it was published in the Official Gazette four years ago.

At that time time, Seagal had been in Serbia twice, where he was received by the country's top leaders. At the time, he visited the Shelter for Children in Belgrade, handed out New Year's packages to there, and on New Year's Eve performed with his band in front of the Assembly in Belgrade.

Steven said that he would do everything to better promote Serbia, which he considers his new homeland, and also wanted to launch an aikido club in Belgrade.

Ralph Fiennes

The British actor visits Serbia and Belgrade often, and three years ago received a Serbian passport from President Aleksandar Vucic.

"Through his artistic work, but also business activities, he has been selflessly promoting Serbia, our locations, film production capacities and people, as professionals and as friends," Prime Minister Ana Brnabic said at the time.

"As he himself has said, he liked from the beginning the spirit of Belgrade, whose architecture is imprinted with a rich history and energy of a people and a state who were always ready to help, which especially inspired him. He became a sincere friend and promoter of our country and thus undoubtedly deserved an honorary citizenship," the prime minister stressed.

Before him, Serbia's citizenship was also granted to the French humanitarian Arnaud Gouillon, footballer Gabriel Cleo, former Red Star basketballers DeMarcus Nelson and Charles Jenkins, as well as Red Star's Brazilian footballer Evandro Goebel.
