Details of Serbian citizen's murder in Switzerland: She was shot while her child was at home

J.S. (32), a citizen of Serbia, was killed on Tuesday afternoon in Winterthur, Switzerland, and the police have arrested a man (76), also a citizen of Serbia, on suspicion of having committed this crime.

The woman was found on Tuesday afternoon with numerous gunshot wounds. When the police arrived they found an older man in the apartment, whom they immediately arrested. J.S.'s two-year-old daughter was also in the apartment at the time of the tragedy, and the police immediately took the child to a safe place.

The father of the murdered woman told Swiss media that his daughter was trying to divorce her husband.

"She had marital problems and she wanted to divorce her husband, who is currently in Serbia," said the victim's father and added that her husband was violent towards her.

He said that two older children are currently in Serbia with their father, and that he is trying in every way to bring them back to Switzerland as soon as possible.

The father of the murder victim claims that the man who was arrested in the case is a relative of his son-in-law.

The motive for the murder is still unknown, and as the Swiss police confirmed for Telegraf.rs, intensive work is still being done to shed light on all the details of this crime.

Neighbors of the victim had only words of praise for J.S. They said she was very kind and caring. They revealed that in addition to the girl, who was in the apartment at the time of the murder, she also had a son and another daughter.

"She lived alone in that apartment. Sometimes an older man would come to bring her food. She didn't talk about her husband. She only said that he lives in Serbia and that the children are with him during the holidays," said the neighbor.

She added that she was shocked by everything that happened.

"I would never  have believed that something like this could happen to her," said the neighbor.
