"Dara of Jasenovac" star Biljana Cekic, had one wish while in Belgrade: This actor is her role model

Biljana Cekic, who left audiences throughout Serbia and the diaspora speechless with her role in the film "Dara of Jasenovac" is currently visiting the capital.

Biljana arrived in Belgrade yesterday with her father, brother and sister, and today she was hosted by President Aleksandar Vucic in Villa Mir.

As the president said, this humble girl had only one wish after arriving in the capital - to meet actor Milos Bikovic. However, as Bikovic is currently filming in North Macedonia, the encounter has been postponed.

Biljana said it before that out of all her colleagues, the star of "South Wind" ("Juzni Vetar") is her role model.

Although she is not attending an acting school, this girl from the village of Sreflije near Kozarska Dubica did very well in such a demanding role, while actor Marko Janketic believes that this exceptional girl has a gift based on an instinctive sense of acting.

"I plan to continue acting. This was a really wonderful experience and I wish to have the opportunity to get a role in another movie. My dream is to have a film career," she said earlier.

She has only words of praise for director Predrag Gaga Antonijevic, as well as screenwriter Natasa Drakulic, and she stressed that she also learned a lot from her older colleagues Marko Janketic and Igor Djordjevic.
