There has been talk for days and speculation about what the new Red Star jerseys will look like, while it was known that they would be a replica of the ones from the season when now head coach Dejan Stankovic played for the Belgrade club, 25 years ago.

On the occasion of that anniversary, as well as because of the fact that the former Red Star footballing legend is now on the club's bench, a retro jersey has been made that is almost identical to the one in which Stankovic played. That was one of the most beautiful jerseys that Red Star ever had, the one made by Kappa, ​​with Beobanka as the main sponsor.

Now Macron has made an almost identical retro version, with new sponsors, but with the same design, and the first photos were leaked before the kits have been officially promoted.

Photos of all three new Red Star jerseys surfaced on social networks. The home jerseys will be a retro version of the "Beobanka ones" is what delighted the fans the most, but it's the same with the white away jerseys, which will be a replica of the ones from the 1991 season, when Red Star made the greatest success in history. It has been 30 years since the club became European champions in a game played in Bari, and on that occasion, "homage" has been made to the great success and anniversary in the form of a retro white jersey, which will have a reminder of 1991 next to the coat of arms.
