The best in the world returns: Djokovic confirms he will play in Dubai!

The best tennis player in the world, Novak Djokovic, has officially confirmed that he will play the Dubai tournament.

After the saga and the absence from the Australian Open due to well-known reasons, the ATP 500 series tournament, which will be held from February 21 to 26, will be the first this year where Novak will compete.

Novak's website confirms that the Serbian tennis player will start the season by playing the ATP event in Dubai.

Djokovic, who was denied a visa by the Australians and has not been able to defend his Australian Open title, which he has won nine times, has lifted the trophy in Dubai five times in his career (in 2009, 2010, 2011, 2013, and 2020).

Vaccination certificate is not required for the Dubai tournament, nor is there any quarantining upon arrival in this UAE city.

Eight top-ranked ATP players will also participate in the tournament.
