Pristina's Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration and Dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina Besnik Bislimi said that at last night's meeting with EU representative Miroslav Lajcak and US special envoy Gabriel Escobar, he reiterated Kosovo's commitment to a final agreement with Serbia, which is focused on mutual recognition.

Bislimi wrote on Facebook that he said that the dialogue is in the service of citizens and peace of general security, through a stable and applicable agreement.

"The end of the dialogue process between Kosovo and Serbia, as well as the next steps in this process, were the focus of the meeting and the topic of discussion. I reiterated that dialogue is in the service of citizens and peace of general security, through a stable and applicable agreement, with the aim of mutual recognition. I expressed my gratitude for the United States' commitment to supporting the EU-led dialogue process. Escobar said that this process has the full support of the United States. Meanwhile, Mr. Lajcak said the meeting was a good opportunity to continue discussions and make further progress in the process. I also reaffirmed Kosovo's commitment to continuing its constructive engagement in the dialogue process," Bislimi said.
