Vucic and Dodik: Ties between Serbia and Serb Republic have never been stronger

After the formation of a new government of Serbia, the first joint session will be held in Banja Luka - they agreed during the meeting

The ties between the Republic of Serbia and the Serb Republic (RS, the Serb entity in BiH) have never been stronger and no one will ever be able to disrupt them. We discussed all important issues, understood the gravity of the position of the Serb people today and agreed on Serbia's support to the Serb Republic, both economically and in all other areas.

Peace and stability in the region are an essential interest of Serbia and the RS, as is the common position on important political issues for the Western Balkans, but also for Europe.

President Dodik told President Vucic that he and the Serb Republic are under great pressure regarding the internal political situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), while President Vucic said that Serbia will not and cannot accept the application of the Bonn powers or imposing of sanctions against the Serb Republic leadership. Work will continue to help the people of the RS, while respecting the integrity of the RS within BiH.

Vucic and Dodik agreed that after the formation of a new government of Serbia, the first joint session of the two governments will be held in Banja Luka.
