The world's best tennis player, Novak Djokovic, started his 366th week at the top of the ATP list this Monday, and made a new step towards writing history and breaking the record held Steffi Graf, who held the top spot for 377 weeks.

The defeat in the second round of the Masters in Monte Carlo at the hands of Alejandro Davidovich Fokina did not affect Novak Djokovic's the first place, and the Serbian increased his advantage over second-placed Daniil Medvedev of Russia. Novak is currently playing at the Serbian Open and has the opportunity to increase his advantage over Medvedev. Novak now has 8,340 points, and compared to the last tournament, he is defending 90 points. Also, he could get 250 in case he wins the tournament, so he could reach 8,500 points.

On the other hand, Medvedev is not playing due to injury, and is losing 150 points, so he will have 8080 next week.

The top 10 are completed by Alexander Zverev, Rafael Nadal, Stefanos Tsitsipas, Matteo Berrettini, Casper Ruud, Andrei Rublev, Felix Auger-Aliassime and Cameron Norrie.

When it comes to other Serbian tennis players, Miomir Kecmanovic is still in 38th place with 1,211 points, Filip Krajinovic dropped from 39th to 45th with 1,091, Laslo Djere is up 12 places and is now at 50, while Dusan Lajovic dropped 29 places and is currently 78th.
