Zakov: Bulgaria will support Kosovo's membership in NATO

In a conversation in Sofia with the minister of defense of the Provisional Institutions of Pristina, Armend Mehaj, Minister of Defense of Bulgaria Dragomir Zakov said that the country would provide support to so-called Kosovo for its membership in NATO and other international organizations.

Mehaj said that Bulgaria, as a member of NATO and the EU, remains an important partner in order to strengthen relations and that a memorandum of cooperation is expected to be signed soon, RTK reports.
He added that Bulgaria will also provide assistance in the field of security, cadet education and training of KSF members.
