Novak Djokovic confirmed his dominance at Wimbledon, won his 21st Grand Slam title, but due to a combination of circumstances, instead of his name heading the latest ATP ranking, he dropped to seventh place!

As is well known, the ATP decided to deny Wimbledon points because the tournament decided not to allow Russian and Belarus tennis players to participate.

This mostly affected the players who were successful in this tournament last year, especially Novak who won the title and on Sunday defended it, and still lost 2,000 points.

So he went from third to seventh place, overtaken by Rafael Nadal, Stefanos Tsitsipas, Casper Ruud and Carlos Alcaraz.

Everyone lost some points, but among the top 10, only Djokovic suffered in the ATP rankings.

Jannik Sinner entered the top ten, Matteo Berrettini experienced the biggest drop and is now at 15, four places lower than before Wimbledon.

As for Serbian tennis players, Filip Krajinovic (30) and Miomir Kecmanovic (31) swapped their places.

Laslo Djere is four places higher on the list at 53, while Dusan Lajovic came very close to him, four behind, having also progressed four places.

Hamad Medjedovic also made big progress, by 129 places and is now number 266, as did Miljan Zekic, who went up 64 places and is number 212.
