The news spread all over Serbia that Serbian politician, member of the National Assembly and retired General Bozidar Delic died today at the age of 67.

The fact that Bozidar Delic passed away was confirmed for Telegraf.rs from his political movement, "There is no going back - Serbia is behind."

Delic was treated for cancer for a long time and had several surgeries, it has been confirmed for our portal.

Aleksandar Jerkovic, a deputy from Delic's movement, told Telegraf.rs that Delic will be remembered as a great man who fought until the end.

"The doctors from the hospital in Moscow informed me of his death. He literally fought until the last moment. The doctors did not believe that a man could be alive in such a condition and in such pain. A man of steel with a will of steel. An extraordinary human being," said Jerkovic.

Delic went to Moscow to receive chemotherapy, however, this was done too late, and fluid started building up in his stomach, so the doctors dealt with that secondary problem and unfortunately, they were unable to solve it.
