Kurti announces fines for Serbs, starting Feast of Archangel Michael: More than 900 warnings over plates

Albin Kurti said that the number of warnings issued to Serbs for license plates that were not re-registered as the "RKS" version exceeded 900 and stressed that after November 21, fines should begin to be applied, Klan Kosova reports, according to Kosovo Online.

"Today, the number of 900 warnings issued to Serb citizens who have illegal license plates has been exceeded. Fines should be applied after November 21," Kurti said.

On the basis of the decision of the government of Kosovo, as of November 1, warnings are being issued to drivers who have not re-registered their vehicles to "RKS" license plates.

The amount of the fine that will be imposed starting November 21, as the police announced, will be 150 euros.
