Great tragedy: A young policeman dies at shooting range in Novi Sad

A 21-year-old policeman who was wounded from a pistol at a shooting range in Novi Sad died instantly, Telegraf.rs has learned.

Unofficially, he accidentally shot himself.

"It is suspected that a bullet got jammed in the barrel and that he wanted to check what was happening. Unfortunately, the gun then went off," said our source.

The investigation is ongoing.

A large number of police are at the scene.

The victim is V.P. (21), who was attending the police training school in Kamenica.

According to Dr. Zoran Krulj, spokesman for the Novi Sad Emergency Service, their team intervened at around 9:17 am.

A 21-year-old man was found at the scene with a gunshot wound.

Unfortunately, despite attempts at resuscitation, the doctors were unable to save the young man's life.
