Vucic meets with Lajcak: Formation of ZSO is prerequisite for normalization of relations

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic last afternoon received the European Union's special representative for dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina and other regional issues of the Western Balkans, Miroslav Lajcak, with whom he discussed the European proposal, the formation of the Community of Serb Municipalities (ZSO) and other necessary steps aimed at normalizing relations between Serbs and Albanians.

President Vucic stressed that Serbia is working responsibly and is committed to negotiations in order to achieve compromise and sustainable solutions, necessary for normal life and a better future for all citizens, with the clearly stated limitations.

On that occasion, the president reiterated that the formation of the Community of Serb Municipalities (ZSO) is a prerequisite for normalization of relations, as well as the security and protection of the rights of the Serb people in Kosovo and Metohija, announced the presidential press service.
