Hospitalized mother doesn't know Stojan killed her daughter: He confessed, mentioned mental problems as excuse

Stojan Ilic (38) was in the prosecution yesterday where he described in detail how and why he killed N.P. (16) and seriously injured her mother S.P., grandmother M.P., and uncle D.P.

The unfortunate girl was buried yesterday, and according to relatives, her mother has not yet been told that she is dead. Almost at the same time as the funeral, her suspected killer presented his defense.

"She (the mother) asked how her mother and brother were doing. She doesn't even know that her daughter was attacked and killed. She remembers that Stojan said he would return," says a relative of the family of the murdered N.P.

As Telegarf.rs has learned, Ilic stabbed the woman seven times, injuring her lungs.

During the hearing, Stojan complained about his mental problems to the prosecutor, but also revealed that his now late neighbor, who was underage, was insulting and humiliating him, as did her entire family.

Investigation

The order to conduct the investigation charges the suspect with the criminal offenses of aggravated murder and attempted aggravated murder.

The suspect admitted to committing the criminal acts for which he has been charged and presented his defense in detail.

It is suspected that on April 10, around 2:30 pm, Stojan I. drove the victim and her underage brother from their family home in Ripanj to the center of this Belgrade suburb in order to go to shopping.

When the victim's brother went to the store, Stojan I., it is suspected, drove the girl to an uninhabited part of Ripanj, took her out on a slope under the railway line, and knocked her to the ground.

He them took off her trousers, tore her underwear and stripped her naked, then started stabbing her in the stomach area, the left shoulder and the neck from the back, as a result of which the girl received severe, life-threatening injuries and suffered pain, and later passed away.

After the commission of this criminal act, the suspect returned to her family home and there inflicted several serious and light physical injuries on her mother, grandmother and uncle, using a knife, after which he left the scene, threatening to return.

Defense

At the hearing, Stojan defended himself by saying that dark thoughts descended on him because N.P. was mocking and laughing at him in the car. He said other members of her family made fun of him as well because he has mental health problems, for which he had been treated.

He said that he was very sorry because of everything that happened and that he wanted to commit suicide.

The crime happened on Monday around 2 pm.
