Prime Minister of Serbia Ana Brnabic said on the occasion of the interview President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic gave to CNN that it shows what kind of pressure Serbia is under and how much the president is fighting.

"And how he reacts both emotionally and soberly, and courageously answers and explains at a moment when anyone else would lose all composure and political correctness," Brnabic told TV Prva.

Brnabic stated that there is no difference between what the opposition in Belgrade says and what Pristina is saying.

"I would say that Pristina and the Pristina media would be proud if they reported the way the tycoon media in Belgrade do," Brnabic stressed.

Brnabic added that Serbia is in a difficult situation.

"None of us justifies the killing of anyone, the killing of an Albanian officer from the so-called Kosovo police, but whatever happens, if the Serbs react in any way, Belgrade and the authorities are accused of being guilty of aggression and attack," explained the prime minister.

Commenting on the current situation in Banjska, Brnabic said that no one is reacting to the humiliation of the Serb people in Kosovo and Metohija.

"President Vucic is both pleading and pointing out, saying, 'people, it's impossible for something not to happen because Kurti wants something to happen so that the Serbs react'," said Brnabic.

She noted that the opposition in Serbia and some media say that Vucic is the culprit, even though he has been pleading for peace and stability for years.

"Where is Albin Kurti? Kurti and Pristina are arresting Serbs without a warrant and without explanation and allow the shooting of Serb children and let the one who shoots at tgem not be in prison or in custody," Brnabic said.

According to her, Vucic is fighting to show what the truth is.

"He works day and night to show factual and documented information to all those who decide what will happen today, and he shows data on how many members of the Army were on the administrative line," the prime minister pointed out.

She stated that the opposition wants to overthrow the entire state at the expense of the government. Regarding the detention of Milan Radojicic, Brnabic said that there is the rule of law in Serbia and that the country will do everything it has to in accordance with the law and the Constitution to investigate all the circumstances and act accordingly.

She stressed that the ZSO (Community of Serb Municipalities in Kosovo and Metohija) is the only obligation of Pristina from the Brussels Agreement, one which has not yet been implemented after 10 years. Brnabic pointed out that if you look at how Belgrade has changed, what kind of investments there are, what kind of railways and roads are being built, you can see that Serbia is a different country.

"We must not allow this pressure to defeat us, neither from the outside nor, unfortunately, from the inside. We have to keep moving," said the prime minister.

She stressed that the average salary when Vucic came to power was around 370 euros, while today the minimum salary is over 400 euros.

"We will have an additional increase in pensions from January 1, amounting to 14.8 percent, the fact is that we have a 10 percent salary increase, the fact is that we have ensured all the conditions for the minimum wage to go over 400 euros from January 1, 2024," said Brnabic.

She stated that today she is going to the Ovcar-Kablar Gorge, where she will attend the cornerstone laying ceremony for the "Skywalk" glass observation deck.

"The first of its kind in this part of Europe, a big thing, a very important thing for the people there, many will come to welcome it," said Brnabic.
