Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic has announced that he will be in Paris on November 11, to attend a peace conference on the occasion of World War I Armistice Day and that he will meet with French President Emmanuel Macron.

"It's an annual peace conference on November 11, Armistice Day, and French President Macron is organizing it. I believe I'll have a meeting with him. I know there were some other ideas related to Pristina, but I don't have any confirmation so far or anything like that," Vucic told Prva TV.

The president of Serbia announced that he will have a number of important meetings in Paris, including a bilateral meeting with Belgian Prime Minister Alexander De Croo.

Vucic also said that he wants to remind the citizens of Serbia that only 20 days ago, what he says was a brutal campaign was led to threaten Serbia with sanctions and measures against our country that would follow.

"You remember that I said then - I can't guarantee, other people make decisions, I'm just asking the citizens to be calm, to be sure, that they have a serious and responsible leadership and that something like that won't happen," said Vucic.

The president said that there are no sanctions or measures and that he is convinced that there will be no apology for those lies, but that they will only continue instead.
