Bus wheels fall through bridge, it gets urgently closed to traffic: Drama near Leskovac

The bridge at the entrance to the village of Leskovacki Priboj was damaged on November 16, as a bus was crossing it and its wheels fell through the surface. The bridge has been closed to traffic since then, writes Resetka.rs.

The Public Enterprise Urban Planning and Construction says that preliminary measurements and estimates are being made for the proposal for the restoration of the bridge.

"Now, Zaluznje and Pribožj have a traffic problem, and they can only be connected via Zivkovo. We hope that this problem will be solved in due time," said the director of this company, Novica Nikolić.

The locals are not facing a great situation.

They say the bridge is actually so damaged that it is impossible to repair, and that a new one will have to be built instead.
