Ana Brnabic speaks from The Hague: I provided difficult answers and defended our sovereign positions

National Assembly President Ana Brnabic spoke from The Hague, where she met with members of two committees of the Dutch Parliament - the Committee on Foreign Affairs and the Committee on European Affairs.
Brnabic spoke with them about the visit of President Aleksandar Vucic to Russia, on the occasion of Victory Day.
"President Vucic went there to bow to the victims. Today's politics do not change what happened 80 years ago. They accepted that our place was there at that moment," she said.
Brnabic stressed that the talks were difficult.
"They were asking difficult questions. I provided difficult answers and defended our sovereign positions, but the atmosphere was positive. They showed attention and respect for Serbia, they also quoted Ivo Andric," she said.
She also pointed out that today, work was done on building good relations with the Netherlands, and that the arrival of Dutch companies in Serbia has also been announced.
"The Netherlands is an example of a country with which we have much stronger economic than political relations. It would be good if politics could follow that," she concluded.
