Serbia in race for large investment: Will BMW supplier build factory in the country?
Serbian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy Adrijana Mesarovic today met with representatives of Chinese companies GEB - Shandong Golden Empire Precision Machinery Technology, and MINT, with whom she discussed new investments in our country, her ministry announced.

After the meeting with the representatives of MINT, Mesarevic stated that this company employs 3,000 people in Serbia and that after factories in Sabac and Loznica have been built, they want to expand capacities in other parts of our country as well.
The minister pointed out that GEB - Shandong Golden Empire Precision Machinery Technology plans to build a factory in Serbia to supply parts for BMW.
Mesarevic stressed that Serbia has been shortlisted for the realization of this large investment and that she hopes there will soon be good news.
According to her, that would once again confirm that large global companies are choosing to invest in our country, which is proof of stability and a prosperous economic policy led by President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic and the Government of Serbia.
Mesarevic added that the ministry she heads continues to provide support to investors who influence further development of our economy.
