Air Serbia establishes direct flights between Belgrade and Sardinia

This morning, Air Serbia established a new seasonal route between Belgrade and Alghero in Sardinia.
The first flight, JU478, was an Airbus A319 which took off from Belgrade's Nikola Tesla Airport at 7:20 am.
During the summer season, there will be flights twice a week - on Tuesdays and Fridays.
Alghero is the tenth destination in Italy to which Air Serbia currently flies from Belgrade. The Serbian national airline's Italian network already includes Rome, Milan, Venice, Bologna, Florence, Naples, Bari, Palermo, and Catania.

Sardinia, the second largest island in the Mediterranean, is known for its indented coastline that is over 1,800 kilometers long, many beaches and traditional Mediterranean towns.
The new route represents the first direct air connection between Serbia and the northwestern coast of this island.
