Leader of the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) Milos Vucevic addressed the public today, commenting on last night's attack in Vrnjacka Banja, when a person fired shots at the local SNS premises.

"What happened last night in Vrnjacka Banja was the culmination. It was as if an excuse had been made in advance so that this could happen. What is fortunate is that no one was hurt. None of our SNS party members were in the premises. The attacker did not merely shoot at the premises. Whether he was looking to kill any SNS member, we don't know," Vucevic said, and added:

"What is absolutely reprehensible is the loud silence of the tycoon-owned media and 'blockaders'. They will try to justify this, too. This is a wake-up call and warning to everyone who's a part of the political discourse - do not legitimize violence. I would urge them not to commit violence on Vidovdan."

The SNS leader also said that the party is taking this attack very seriously.
