Minister of Internal Affairs Ivica Dacic said today that his son Luka Dacic lives with him, in his apartment, and that reports in some media about Luka owning a villa in Monaco next to that of Novak Djokovic are false.

"My son Luka is 26 years old and he lives in my apartment. I haven't even got him a job anywhere because I'm not going to ask anyone to hire my son. My wife isn't employed either because I don't want someone to blackmail me and tell they're helping me somehow," Dacic told TV Pink.

The minister added that he could sue those who publish such articles, but that he does not want to waste time in courts.

"It is a classic example showing that anyone can say something irresponsible like that, making people think that someone really has that kind of wealth," Dacic said.

Accordion to him, his son Luka has security assigned to him because the law provides for that.

"He is a protected (public) person because according to the law and regulations there are a number of people who must be. Unfortunately, I have been a protected person since 2008 and as far as my movements are concerned, everything since then is on record. I am now indifferent to that, but they (the family) are not," explained Dacic.
