Minister Dacic receives EU Ambassador to Serbia Giaufret on farewell visit

Deputy PM and Interior Minister Ivica Dacic today received Ambassador of the EU Delegation to Serbia Emanuele Giaufret on a farewell visit.

Dacic thanked Giaufret for excellent cooperation over many years and his contribution to improvement of relations between Serbia and the European Union, wishing him success in his further diplomatic career.

Cooperation so far in the process of Serbia's accession to the European Union was discussed during the meeting, and the interlocutors exchanged opinions on cooperation regarding Chapter 24.

Dacic pointed out that in the past period, key measures have been implemented in the fight against organized crime, migrations and human trafficking.

Dacic added that he believes the successful cooperation between the Delegation of the European Union and the Serbian Ministry of Internal Affairs will continue in the coming period, in line with European values and common goals.
