Horror in New Belgrade: Construction worker from Kyrgyzstan falls and breaks his neck

Yesterday, an accident occurred at a construction site in Omladinskih Brigada Street in New Belgrade, when a 24-yeaar-old worker from Kyrgyzstan got seriously injured.

Telegraf.rs has learned that the accident happened when the young man, due to unknown circumstances, fell from a height of about three meters.

An ambulance quickly arrived at the scene and transported the severely injured worker to the Zemun Clinical Hospital Center, where he was thoroughly examined, after which the doctors concluded that he had suffered serious injuries to his head, and a broken neck.

The police conducted an investigation at the scene, while the competent prosecutor's office was informed about the incident. The investigation is ongoing, and it will be determined how the accident happened, as well as whether all safety measures were implemented at the construction site.

For now, it is not known whether the worker wore all the necessary protective equipment at the time of the fall.
