Latest ATP rankings published, here's where Novak Djokovic stands: We haven't seen this in 2025!

Another tennis season is over when it comes to Grand Slam tournaments, Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz won two trophies each and confirmed that they currently dominate tennis. The new ATP rankings also speak in support of that!
By beating Sinner in the final, Alcaraz managed to return to the number 1 spot and is now 760 points ahead of the Italian. When it comes to the rest of the ATP rankings, it is clear others are trailing behind, specifically the third ranked tennis player in the world is Alexander Zverev who has 5,930 points.
Serbian tennis player Novak Djokovic finally returned to the 4th position, where he was last at the end of October 2024, and since then his best ranking has been 5th place.
If Novak Djokovic manages to stay where he is now until mid-January, it would mean that the Serbian could be in a more favorable position before the first Grand Slam of the next season.
In all four major tournaments, Novak Djokovic was up against Carlos Alcaraz or Jannik Sinner startin in the quarterfinals, while the possibility of them squaring off according to the current rankings would be in the semifinals.
