Funds raised to help Teodora, the only survivor of Novi Sad railway station canopy collapse

Teodora Martinko is the only person who was injured in the Novi Sad railway station canopy collapse last fall and who survived, and now continues the process of recovery. In this fight, she needs the financial support from those able to afford it.

A few months ago the doctors announced that Teodora's life was no longer in danger, but it was reported that the extremely serious injuries she survived and their consequences require extensive rehabilitation.

This information was confirmed in mid-May by the head of the Clinic for Anesthesia, Intensive Care and Pain Therapy of the Clinical Center of Vojvodina Dr. Teodora Tubic, who said that the patient's courage and will power are something that, given the difficult situation she found herself in - along with the efforts of the multidisciplinary medical team - is certainly a big part of the success is saving her life.

"I think when it comes to any disease, such will and such courage would contribute a lot. Her initial condition was such that according to all statistics we did not expect her to survive, now we can say that she is out of any danger to her life and we sincerely hope that she will be discharged from our clinic soon," the doctor said ar the time.

Now Teodora Martinko needs financial support to continue her recovery.
