Final list of 35 countries that will participate in Eurovision 2026 published! FIVE countries are boycotting
The European Broadcasting Union (EBU), which organizes the Eurovision Song Contest, today announced the list of countries that will participate in next year's competition in Vienna, the Eurovisionworld website is reporting.
35 countries have confirmed their participation in the 70th edition of the competition, including Bulgaria, Romania, and Hungary - which did not participate in previous years.
Confirmations came from Albania, Armenia, Australia, Austria, Azerbaijan, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Georgia, Germany, Greece, Israel, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Moldova, Montenegro, Romania, Norway, Poland, Portugal, San Marino, Serbia, Sweden, Switzerland, Ukraine, and, the United Kingdom.
Iceland, Ireland, the Netherlands, Slovenia, and Spain have decided to boycott the competition, in protest against allowing Israel to participate, in view of the humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip.
Spain is also one of only five countries that have participated in every Eurovision Song Contest since 1961.
Austria's Johannes Pietsch won the 2025 edition of the competition with the song, "Wasted Love".
