Assistant director of the pulmonology department at the Clinical Center of Serbia, Spasoje Popevic, who is in charge of treating Deputy PM and Interior Minister Ivica Dacic, spoke about his state of health on Friday morning.

Dacic was hospitalized earlier this week with bilateral pneumonia.

"For now, he is stable, intensive treatment measures are continuing and he spent the night peacefully," said the doctor.

Popevic noted that the public will receive new information in the afternoon, at 5 pm.

He added that any possible changes will be announced in a timely manner.

Ivica Dacic is undergoing hospital treatment at the University Clinical Center of Serbia. He is suffering from bilateral pneumonia, and his medical condition is currently assessed by the doctors as serious but stable.

Dacic is still under constant medical supervision while all necessary therapeutic measures are being applied.
