Doctors reveal latest information about condition of Ivica Dacic

The condition of Deputy PM and Interior Minister Ivica Dacic was on Sunday evening described as still serious.

But there are more reasons for optimism than during the previous days, a team of doctors at the Clinical Center of Serbia announced.

"Based on the latest analyses and parameters that are monitored, we can say that today, more than in the past days, we have reason for optimism, even though the patient's condition is still serious. We continue to apply intensive treatment," the statement said.

Last Wednesday, Dacic was admitted to the Pulmonology Clinic of the Clinical center of Serbia. He is suffering from bilateral pneumonia.
