Health Minister Zlatibor Loncar said today that Deputy PM and Interior Minister Ivica Dacic is doing better, and added that there is reason for optimism, but also that intensive medical treatment and therapy are continuing.

"His current condition is improved, which gives us reason for optimism. What is important is that there's still a lot of work ahead, intensive treatment and application of intensive therapy continue. That is what I will say at this time, while the people who are treating him will explain in more detail during the day," Loncar told reporters after visiting the Kumodraz-1 Healthcare Center, which is a branch of the Vozdovac Healthcare Center.

On Wednesday evening, Ivica Dacic was hospitalized at the Pulmonology Clinic of the Clinical Center of Serbia due to severe pneumonia.
