Serbian Deputy PM and Interior Minister Ivica Dacic has posted online for the first time since he was urgently hospitalized at the Pulmonology Clinic of the University Clinical Center of Serbia due to bilateral pneumonia!

"Dear friends, I am speaking to you for the first time after that terrible day, February 25. I've returned to life! I am still in the hospital, but the council formed by Minister Loncar hinted to me that I should be able to leave any day now and continue the treatment at home. That dark day clearly showed me what and who should be my priorities. The day I fell asleep on my way out of life, five days unconscious between life and death, and my reawakening on my late father Desimir's birthday, March 2. Thank you to everyone who believed, worried and prayed for me. May all your goodness be rewarded with goodness," Dacic wrote on Instagram, adding:

"Thank you to the wonderful doctors and medical staff at the Pulmonology Clinic of the University Clinical Center. Thank you to those who were with me, thank you also to those who were not, because they helped me realize that they never deserved my attention. I thank my brother Aleksandar Vucic, my family, friends and party comrades, state authorities, the Church, everyone who prayed that God would save and protect me. More than 15 years ago, Kemal Monteno and I sang his song together, but I never thought I'd live it. I've come back, life! Thank you to everyone who helped me not to be judged, because there is no death without Judgement Day. Thank you all."

After he was hospitalized, Ivica Dacic was intubated and connected to a ventilator, and remained so until March 2.
