First photos from scene of horrific accident near Hrtkovci: Three people killed by wrong-way driver!

A serious traffic accident occurred today around 13:00 on the Sabac-Ruma highway, near the Hrtkovci intersection. It is suspected that the driver of a Ford was driving in the wrong way at 130 kilometers per hour.

Telegraf.rs has learned that the driver is suspected of first taking the wrong highway exit, thus ending up driving in the opposite direction.

The collision also involved people traveling in a Golf.

As can be seen in the photos from the scene published by the Instagram account 192, both vehicles suffered significant damage, as three people died instantly. Two more were injured.

Police, firefighters and ambulance crews are at the scene. As of Monday afternoon, traffic is suspended in the direction of Ruma.

According to the 192 Instagram account, a few moments before the terrible accident, a warning was sent to the Patrola 015 Viber group, which monitors traffic in the region of Macva.
