A fire broke out this morning in a Serbian Orthodox church in Botos near Zrenjanin, northern Serbia, which caused great material damage, but fortunately no one was injured.

The scenes made social media users initially react by leaving comments that expressed suspicion the footage was AI-generated.

In reality, nine firefighters with four trucks were dispatched to the scene.

The fire has been contained, and according to currently available information, no one was injured, but there significant material damage has been done.

The cause of the fire has not been revealed at this time.
