SNS to decide on electoral list in 2 weeks, here's whether Vucic will be candidate for prime minister

Milos Vucevic, the leader of the ruling SNS and presidential adviser, told K1 TV that the party will decide on its electoral list in two weeks, and that its wish is for Aleksandar Vucic to be a candidate for prime minister.

"I am sure that Aleksandar Vucic will be the first on the list, that he will be our candidate for prime minister, that is our wish. In two weeks, we will have a meeting of the SNS main board, where we will determine the list and then know if Aleksandar Vucic will be on our list. We are waiting for his decision," said Vucevic.

He recalled that President Vucic mentioned two dates for early parliamentary elections.

"Elections must be called between September 1 to 10. We went to local elections with a single list, I'm talking about the SNS and the SPS. The SPS decided to (now) go to the elections alone. We are not angry, but it's a strange narrative as well as the messages coming from the SPS," Vucevic said, and concluded:

"We think that the SPS sent a signal to everyone that it is not a guarantor of further cooperation with the SNS, that it leaves the door open for cooperation with other parties. We will not speak badly about what we did with the SPS. We feel that we have remained in the political positions along which Serbia has been moving for the previous 14 years, everyone else is on the other side. All others are directly or indirectly moving toward the 'blockader' list."
