The former commander of the Army of the Serb Republic (VRS) General Ratko Mladic died on August 27 at the age of 84 in the custody unit in Scheveningen, his family confirmed last week.

From that moment on, as far as sports events are concerned, fans in Serbia and the Serb Republic (RS, Serb entity in Bosnia and Herzegovina) have been saying goodbye to the wartime general.

On Saturday, the biggest derby in the Czech Republic, between bitter football rivals, Sparta and Slavia, was played in Prague.

Slavia won 3-0, and among the banners in the stands was the one dedicated to General Mladic. A photo of this was shared by Hooligans.cz, a place dedicated to fan events.

At one point during the game, supporters of Sparta Prague displayed a banner dedicated to the former VRS commander, which featured the Serbian flag, and the inscription, "RIP GENERAL".
