Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic addressed the public from the village of Huta in Ukraine, where he participated in the meeting of the countries of the Carpathian Initiative.

"I really think it was a very meaningful and very good conversation. I had extremely good bilateral conversations with Prime Minister of Poland Donald Tusk. We talked informally for a long time about everything. Important for us, because of the European journey, but also my understanding of relations with Americans and Europeans. And an excellent conversation with Nicusor Dan, he significantly moved things in terms of the construction of the highway to Timisoara," said the president.

He said that today they had meetings with the representatives of three large countries, and the president, after the questions from journalists, referred to elections.

"I am interested in the citizens of Serbia. They will vote in the elections and they will, I hope, be able to choose what is best for the future. Neither the state nor the elections are to be toyed with," Vucic said.

Vucic will next be touring Serbian districts, and then travel to the United States.
