Vucic: Elections will be uncertain and difficult, it is important that citizens are motivated to vote

Aleksandar Vucic, who heads the "Aleksandar Vucic - United Serbia" electoral list, said today that, according to surveys, the parliamentary election race will be uncertain and difficult and added that it is important for citizens to be motivated and to understand why it is important to go to the polls.

"It will certainly be difficult, uncertain and it is important for people to be motivated and to understand that, if they are not motivated, we will have little state left afterwards," Vucic said while in the village of Izatovci near Dimitrovgrad, where he visited the Nikolov family farm.

Asked about a survey done by Djordje Vukadinovic according to which 44.4 percent of citizens support the Student List, while 41.7 percent support United Serbia - while a Polimarket poll gives advantage to the SNS (United Serbia, 69 percent) over the Student List (16 percent) - Vucic said that the result of Vukadinovic's previous survey was 45-35 percent in favor of the Student List.

"Neither did he (Vukadinovic) do a survey then, nor does he do it now. But it doesn't matter. I like it best that way, so that people understand how serious it is and how important it is to be motivated and to understand well how important it is to vote. That's the most important thing for me," said Vucic.

He added that the SNS will be conducting surveys every day in order to measure everything - every statement, announcement, guest appearance...

"Let's see the movements, let's see what is happening. People do it very professionally," said Vucic.

When a citizen asked when he would visit the town of Nis, Vucic said that he would go today to see one of the persons injured during yesterday's incident, as well as that he would come to Nis for the final rally.

"Today I am coming to Nis to visit an injured person, and I am coming to Nis for the final rally. Expect that we'll see each other on October 20, 21 or 22," said Vucic.
