Important news arrives from Croatia: New deadline for NIS reveals what is prepared behind scenes
The Croatian company operating the JANAF pipeline announced today that it has received a new license from the US Department of the Treasury's Office for Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), which allows it to continue cooperation with Petroleum Industry of Serbia, NIS, until October 30.
JANAF stated that they are monitoring the developments and are constantly in touch with all interested parties.
"In addition, we will continue to undertake all available activities toward the competent authorities, as well as to develop business models to ensure the stable operation of the company, so that in the business is maintained at a level that guarantees the satisfaction of shareholders, business partners and employees," a statement said.
Yesterday, OFAC extended the license for NIS to operate until October 30.
MOL has until the same date to continue negotiations to buy a majority stake in NIS.
The previously issued licenses were valid until September 30.
