Tirana has been engulfed in chaos for days, but on the front line, in front of the offices of the Albanian prime minister, we noticed something unusual - a fast food and ice cream kiosk just two or three steps away from the scene of the clashes, which is open even while rocks and tear gas are thrown...

And that's not the most unusual thing about this story.

"There are clashes and fights here, but Laguna is open. And it has been standing here for 30 years. It was here during the civil war in in 1997, during the earthquake, Covid... They are open every evening, even though there are clashes in front of them, stones are flying, tear gas...," one of the residents of Tirana tells us.

They even distributed food to demonstrators, he added.

"This is the real Albanian resistance. Whatever happens, work is done. And if a world war breaks out, Laguna will still be there and open," he concludes.
