Students react to new RTS collegium's "first measure of apology"

After last night's announcement by RTS and the "first measure of apology" to the citizens, the students in the blockade also spoke out.

In a post on social media, they said that they do not accept apologies, but only resignations.

During last night's prime time news program on RTS, a statement issued by the new editorial board of the news desk was read, in which it is stated that this is "the first measure of apology".

"We do not accept apologies. We only accept resignations," reads a post on the X account of the students in the blockade.

"Dear viewers, these are the first steps towards, we hope, the healing of RTS," said the presenter, after reading the news about the sackings of editors at Serbia's public broadcaster.

"The first measure of apology for all that was left out in the previous period. We have work to do on the program content, and everything is in the public interest. We want to restore your trust, that is the position of the new editorial board of the RTS news desk," it was stated.
