- The movie specifically treats the Serbo-Croatian complex over three stories which take place in the '90s, 2000s and today. The film was filmed on location, in and around Knin. However, the movie is so dramatically built that the fate of these young people, the fate they've been dealt with in a history of intolerance from the people of their surroundings can refer to any time and any environment where there is a problem of this nature: from the Renaissance intolerance between the Monteki and Kapuleti families leading to the suffering of Romeo and Juliet, to the forbidden love affair between a Palestinian and a Jew today. This is a movie where the hidden meaning of the problem is not said explicitly, giving the viewer room for their own reasoning. It is a great honor to be in the official program of the Cannes Film Festival.
