A 37-year-old priest in St. Petersburg, Florida, was arrested on Monday after slapping a child outside his home. The priest is of Serbian origin.
According to local media, the son of priest Dragan Zaric and another boy were playing basketball in front of Zaric's home when the boys started arguing.

Zaric separated them and slapped his son's friend. There were more children and adults on the court at that moment.
Zaric was arrested in the evening and released on $5,000 bail.
He has been a priest at St. Sava Church in St. Petersburg since 2017.
