Jamaica's official and final response about recognition of so-called Kosovo
We regret that there has been a misunderstanding about Jamaica's stance - a statement from the country's foreign ministry said
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Jamaica has officially announced that this Caribbean country has not made a decision to recognize Kosovo as an independent state, Kosovo Online reports citing Klan Kosova Television.
"The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade of Jamaica is aware of public reports about recognition of Kosovo an independent state. Issues such as these are constantly under consideration by the government of Jamaica. However, so far, Jamaica has not made any decision on the matter," the statement said.

This ministry regrets the misunderstanding regarding its position on recognition.
"We regret that there has been a misunderstanding about Jamaica's stance," the statement from the country's foreign ministry said.
