Tough numbers that hurt: 81 more people test positive for coronavirus in Serbia; 384 in total

Starting today, the so-called mass testing for coronavirus is being carried out; consequently, the number of those who will test positive is also expected to be higher

By 3 pm on March 25, a total of 384 cases of coronavirus infections have been registered in the Republic of Serbia - 81 more than yesterday. According to the latest information, 24 people are currently on ventilators.

245 individuals have been tested, 164 of which were negative for the new coronavirus.

By 3 pm on March 24, 2020, a total of 1,161 individuals have been tested in the national reference laboratory of the Torlak Institute, which met the criteria of the case definition.

"This is the highest number of confirmed cases of coronavirus infections to date," said Darija Kisic-Tepavcevic, deputy director of the Batut Institute of Public Health.
