Di Maio thanked Dacic and stressed that this was a special and unique gift

Misters of Foreign Affairs of Serbia and Italy Ivica Dacic and Luigi Di Maio met today in Rome, where the Serbian Minister is on an official bilateral visit.

After the meeting between the two ministers, Dacic presented Di May with several important items related to the two countries.

One of the most important gifts is a shirt of the best tennis player in the world, Novak Djokovic, as well as a tennis ball with his autograph, stressing that this was especially for him.

Di Maio thanked Dacic and emphasized that it was a special and unique gift.

Dacic also gave Di Maio postage stamps dedicated to the events in the First World War, which show how Italian sailors rescued Serbian soldiers after their withdrawal through Albania.

"It is an exceptional honor and a precious item to have that in our Ministry of Foreign Affairs," said the Italian minister.

Di Maio gave Dacic a cigar, as well as a tie and a scarf made by the famous Italian brand Talarico.

A few days ago, Ivica Dacic announced his visit to Italy and on that occasion pointed out that the current pandemic had intensified contacts between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the two countries and strengthened the bilateral partnership between Serbia and Italy in difficult times.
