Serbian defense minister recovers from coronavirus, tests negative and returns to duties

Minister of Defense Aleksandar Vulin has tested negative for Covid-19 in a repeated test, and according to the decision of his doctor, he resumed performing his duties, the Ministry of Defense announced today.

The first test was conducted on June 24, since when Minister Vulin had been in self-isolation due to contact with a state secretary who was infected with coronavirus.

The result of Vulin's test, which arrived a few days later, was positive, which was announced to the public on June 27.

The minister of defense did not have coronavirus symptoms during the period of self-isolation and was under the supervision of a doctor the whole time.
