I will not work against President Aleksandar Vucic, and if a majority in the SPS wants to work against Vucic, I will certainly not participate in it or stay on as SPS president anymore, the leader of the Socialists (SPS) and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic said today.

"These (individuals from the SPS) are bad examples and I asked President Vucic to send me everything about any one of my people doing something stupid. I think that our party as a whole remained on the path that I set out as early as the first night of the protest," Dacic told TV Happy.

He recalled that he stated his position then, condemning what was happening in front of the Assembly of Serbia.

Speaking about statements made by certain members of the SPS and people who have ties to them, and who supported the demonstrations, Dacic said:

"I've already said that anyone who participates in these demonstrations, who supports them in any way and can be linked with that, if they have anything to do with the SPS - they will bear the consequences."

However, he added that there are also those "appointed by them who are not behaving ethically in this situation."

- As for Goran Trivan, we will discuss his responsibility at the Presidency of the party," said Dacic.

He added that he strongly condemns the statement of Novica Toncev and pointed out that Toncev should not have spoken in any way about a road blockade.

Dacic said that a special war is being fought in Serbia and that one step in it is to separate the SPS from Vucic.

"That is why I said that the path to overthrowing Vucic leads through overthrowing Dacic," Dacic added.

Also, Dacic pointed out that he is convinced the coalition with Vucic is in the interest of Serbia, as well as that nothing that is in the interest of Serbia can be against the interest of the SPS.
