The presidential inauguration traditionally attracts hundreds of thousands of visitors to Washington, but it will now be much more modest, due to the Covid pandemic.
Joseph Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris will take the solemn oath that day and give an introductory speech during the ceremony.
The event will be broadcast on CBS, ABC, CNN, NBC, MSNBC, and will be streamed on YouTube, Facebook, Twitter and some other online platforms.
